Honour the Canadian Forces soldiers who “Stand Watch” side by side with Edmontonians throughout the day at the City Hall Cenotaph. This once in a lifetime experience will honour those who fought and died for our country. There will also be “musical moments” on the top of every hour throughout the Vigil. The names of the fallen will be displayed near the Cenotaph on a special Honour Roll.
8:40am: Vigil Opening: Edmonton Young Voice Youth choir sings O Canada
9:00am: Vimy Vigil begins
6:45pm – 7:15pm: “Last Post” Closing Vigil Ceremony with 100 member choir
